The European Commission has launched a call for tenders for services to establish and manage the CCP for the sale and repurchase of CBAM certificates.
The call will be open until 20 March 2026.
By 31 August 2026, the Contractor must have developed a pre-operational version of the CCP, incorporating all core functionalities necessary to support sales, repurchase and reconciliation operations, and ready for testing. From 1 February 2027, the CCP must ensure full operational readiness and start of operations.
